Our review about Qanda – Free Math Solutions

Qanda has an app, and it is a real-time Q&A device that is supported on both Android and IOS. Mathpresso Business’s software is basically a smart studying tool that can allow students to provide real-time contact with top teachers right at the time they face questions during their research procedure. The platform focuses on collaboration between students and teachers, as all of the answers are generated as uploaded math papers by teachers or students.

Who should use Qanda?

Students who want to improve their knowledge, starting from basic math to calculus, should use this app. The software will suit those who want to get only tips on how to come to the right answer, not the full solution straight forward.

How to start using Qanda?

After you download the application, you will have to select the option with which you want to register; then, the platform will ask your grade to provide you with accurate solutions. Then it will open a camera where you can snap a photo and get a solution within a few seconds. Also, the picture from the photo library can be chosen.

How does Qanda work, which problems does it solve?

Qanda is an educational platform that covers such subjects and topics:

  • Basic Math & Pre-Algebra: arithmetic, proportional, integers, fractions, decimal numbers, powers, roots, factors, complex numbers
  • Algebra: linear equations/inequalities, quadratic equations/inequalities, general polynomial equations, systems of equations/inequalities, logarithms, functions, graphing, polynomials
  • Trigonometry/Precalculus: identities, logarithmic functions, exponential functions, trigonometric functions
  • Calculus: series, limits, derivatives, integrals
  • Statistics: combinations, permutation, factorials

First of all, you will have to choose whether you want to search for a math solution, calculate a formula or ask a specific question. Then the platform will direct you to the relevant answers or suggestions on it. For instance, if you put the problem equation, which is not in a software’s database, it will direct you to the similar formulas that teachers or students have submitted earlier.

Which extra services does Qanda have?

There is an option for a web search, so if you have any questions, you need to snap it and get the best web search resources instantly. For instance, you can search videos, step-by-step explanations, and more learning materials. Some graphs are generated with equations too. Plus, there is a great option of asking one-to-one questions of a teacher, with the possibility to select a tutor you want to get guidance from. The questions on such topics as physics and chemistry can also be asked, and you can see frequently asked questions by other friends. The other thing where you can get extra studying tips is the Qandas blog.

Prices & trials

Qanda basic membership will cost $1.49 a month, while Qanda pro membership is $4.99 a month. After subscription depending on your grade, you can ask a certain amount of questions a day. The higher-grade you are, the fewer questions a day you can ask. The software will give you coins that will allow you to get answers from top teachers and put your question in priority for them. Plus, if you want to get the answer faster or choose a specific teacher, you can always pay extra coins.

Is Qanda safe?

Qanda: Instant Math Helper is safe to use. This is based on our NLP (Natural language processing) analysis of over 388 customer reviews found on the Appstore, and the appstore rated it 4.4 out of 5. The safety score for Qanda: Instant Math Helper Is 41.9/100.

Are the solutions correct?

The solutions are not always correct, as it does not generate the solution each time. The software often states that the problem can not be solved.

Pros

The main plus is Quando Instant Solver is free to use; while using it, you can gain coins to get for free some options that need extra payment. The other advantage is that there is a convenient-to-use app with a very simple and clear layout. Besides, the examples you get are based on your current grade.

Cons

Some formulas are not recognized by calculators, which makes it inconvenient at some times. The other thing is that the solver does not generate the step-by-step solution as it states; to get it, you need to ask tutors extra questions or come up with it by yourself with examples and rules that should be applied in that case. One of the points is that the major part of the tutors is not English native speakers; therefore, spelling mistakes and lack of understanding before teacher and student might take place.

Feedback from users of the service

I bought 6000 coins and got scammed by the teachers. For the two questions I submitted both of the teachers couldn’t answer it and took my coins. Which left me with no coins and a waste of money.

Would not recommend they just want your coins and report all questions that seem hard. They are really dumb people who are answering your question providing wrong answers. They are a SCAM BEWARE!
